Chicken Sandwich

Well, I have a guest blogger, my son and he's claiming 100 % propriety on this one. He made the sandwich and he wrote the recipe. He wants to be a chef one day. (Hmmm, I don't know about that). His elective is Home Ec or specifically Foods. His first recipe was bruschetta.

Baked Chicken
Mashed Potatoes
Tomatoes, Sliced
Lettuce Leaf
Dijon Mustard
Two Slices of Bread

Spread mayonnaise on the bread slices. Spread the mashed potatoes. Strip the chicken and lay on top of the potatoes.

Slice tomatoes into round slices. Slice the pickles lengthwise. Lay tomatoes and lettuce and pickles on the other slice of bread.

This is good for lunch after a big party with lots of leftovers.

Wow! You must be proud of your son! How old is he? Seems like he's got the talent! I showed this to my own son (10 y.o.) and he was amazed. (I hope for him to realize that my attempts at involving him in the kitchen is not an isolated case.)

Oo Manang. He is 14 and my daughter is 15 (just 1 year and 3 months apart). Maaga akong na capture hehe but it's worth it. Para ko lang silang barkada. I think cooking also runs in the blood-sa father side ko. It's nice to train them early and to not introduce material things to them..I was trained that way-may katulong kami then but we were still required to help.
